Job InfoJob Location: East Syracuse, New YorkType of Assignment: Temp to HireTransmission Type: AutomaticJob RequirementsExperience: 6+ monthsAdditional InformationCDL A Driver - Heavy Touch - $28 Per Hour  TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in East Syracuse, NY.  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.  CDL A Details  Schedule: Monday - Friday, Occasional as needed Saturday's, 7am start time Pay:  $28 Per Hour, $1,200 - $1,300 estimated weekly pay Route Type: Local, covering Central NY, 4 stops per day Freight / Load Type: Hauling bottles and cans Equipment: 48' Dry Vans with rail gate Handling: Heavy touch freight,  identify and tag bags of bottles/cans, bottles/cans are in a large plastic bag, bags can weight up to 50 pounds, carry 5/6 by hand at a time and load on to trailer CDL A Minimum Requirements:   License: CDL A  Experience: 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience  Endorsements: None Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)  Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements  CDL A Responsibilities:   Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes  Transport bottles and cans in accordance with DOT and company safety standards  Perform required handling tasks including lifting by hand Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections  Maintain accurate logs and paperwork  Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations  Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]  Benefits:  Medical, dental, and vision insurance  Paid time off  401(k)  Referral program  Why Work With TransForce?  Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
