Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months. • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health. Additional Details: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Required Skills/Experience: Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Feeding tube care and management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, PCA, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience. Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV insulin protocols. Required Credentials: Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. Special Requests: No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. RTO must be included at the time of submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Shift & Scheduling: Open to 8 week contracts.
