Design Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the aerospace and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Design Engineer to join their team. As a Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, innovative thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title:Design Engineer Location:Allentown, PA Pay Range: What's the Job? Partner with Global Supply Chain (GSC) and collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvements and resolve hardware non-conformances, ensuring top-tier quality for customers Support Design for producibility, lean flow, and concurrent Engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes Assist in hardware qualifications for new processes, process changes, and new equipment, applying knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing Implement innovative ideas to enhance part functionality, reduce costs, and add value through application of engineering principles Participate in Supply Chain Kaizens & Lean Action Workouts, proactively engaging in quality and process improvement activities What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing Knowledge of HGP design and manufacturing processes Experience with hardware qualification, process improvements, and quality engagement Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a customer satisfaction mindset What's in it for me?
