What You'll DoAs an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you'll be integral to our procedural team:Support Complex Procedures: Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring seamless workflow and optimal patient outcomesDeliver Patient-Centered Care: Prepare and educate patients throughout their procedure experience, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding at every stepOperate Advanced Imaging Equipment: Produce high-quality diagnostic images using cutting-edge technology while maintaining strict radiation safety protocolsMaintain Clinical Excellence: Uphold sterile technique, monitor patient status during procedures, and respond promptly to clinical changesEnsure Operational Readiness: Manage equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and complete accurate documentationCollaborate for Success: Work closely with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional, coordinated patient careWhat You BringEducation (Required)High school diploma required. Associate degree preferred. Graduate of an accredited radiology program or a certified/accredited JCERT hospital based program and credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Associates degree required beginning January, 2015 required.Experience & CredentialsPreferred: One year of interventional radiology experienceRequired: ARRT certification and CPR certificationRequired: Applicable state licensurePreferred: CI, CV, VI credentials or military health system program trainingSkills That Set You ApartProven ability to excel in fast-paced procedural environmentsStrong clinical judgment and attention to detailExcellent communication skills with patients and team membersDeep understanding of interventional procedures and sterile techniqueCommitment to continuous learning and quality improvementAbility to complete department-specific competency validation
