We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsLead Respiratory TherapistNight shift availability is necessary for this opportunity.We are seeking a Lead CRT/RRT Respiratory Therapist for our hospital to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. As a Lead Therapist on our team, you will evaluate the respiratory needs of and develop/implement the Respiratory Care Plan for your patients. Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilationMust be self-directedMaintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as givenSet up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all agesRequirements: Completion of an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree); Bachelor’s Degree preferred Minimum of 3 years experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist; critical care and intubation experience preferredClear/active Florida license as Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hirePediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hireHCA Florida Fawcett Hospital is a 237-bed acute-care hospital serving Charlotte County.
