Critical Care - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC). Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process. Additional Details: Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation. Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted. Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips. Tele test on day 1. Unit/Facility Details: Unit has a strong cardiac focus with occasional MICU overflow patients. 17 beds with an average patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1.
