Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience. • Travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Inpatient oncology, Chemotherapy, Isolation Precautions, Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring, MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management, Central line blood draw, Peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, and Nasal cannula administration. Preferred Skills/Experience: Heme Onc experience Skills: BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant), Care of patients with Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Multiple Myeloma, and Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Recognize/communicate abnormal lab values, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, and Accessing/Managing Ports. Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Unit/Facility Details: 13-16 week contract Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Shift & Scheduling: Day (07:00 - 19:30), Night (19:00 - 07:30) Floating Requirements: Float to other MedSurg Oncology units Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application.
