You will perform a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks to keep all facilities running safely and efficiently. You’ll handle repairs, upkeep, and general housekeeping, including electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and metal fabrication work. You will operate tools and equipment, follow established procedures, and maintain accurate records of your work. You’ll identify and address repair needs or safety concerns, escalating issues to the Maintenance Supervisor when necessary. In this role, you’ll take pride in maintaining functional, safe, and well-kept facilities across the property. What you will be doing Perform general maintenance across all facilities, including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials for various projects Carry out basic repairs and upkeep involving electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and metal fabrication work Follow directions and established procedures to complete daily assignments safely and efficiently Operate maintenance equipment and machinery to support project completion Document repair steps, update procedures for future reference, and communicate project progress clearly Safely use power tools, hand tools, mowers, tractors, shovels, welding equipment, cutting torches, and safety gear to fulfill work orders Identify maintenance needs and safety issues, take corrective action, and report larger concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork on time Perform other related duties as assigned What we would like from you Strong basic math skills with working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems Excellent hand-eye coordination and confidence working safely at high elevations Able to identify and solve problems by observing, listening, and taking quick action Team player who follows instructions and sees tasks through to completion Skilled at using a wide range of hand tools and troubleshooting equipment repairs High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of one year of related hands-on experience Location and other key details: This is a full-time permanent field-based position at our Fort Lupton Plant The hours of work will be Monday to Saturday, totaling 40 or more hours per week Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions and challenging outdoor environments Travel to various job sites required as needed Regular outdoor work with exposure to a range of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow Occasional standing, walking, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, and pushing or pulling as needed Regular exposure to loud noises, heavy machinery, moving equipment, oil, debris, solvents, smoke, gases, fumes, and aggregate materials Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety shoes, vests, and glasses, ear plugs, and hard hats, with additional PPE for special jobs as required This is a safety-sensitive position requiring successful completion of PSP, MVR, background check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical assessment prior to hire Salary Range: $30 and up with experience Why BURNCO?
