Job DescriptionResponsible for supporting the Commissioning Program for the NYS Office of Mental Health and multiple client sites primarily within the NY Region.Job ResponsibilitiesTechnically assist execution of building commissioning projectsReview HVAC, controls and/or electrical plans and specificationsIndependently or with senior engineer, perform field inspections, equipment startups, test and balance activities, and functional performance testsSupport on-site commissioning activities under the supervision of senior engineersAssist in preparing commissioning deliverables such as field reports, checklists, and test proceduresPrepare commissioning reports and maintain commissioning issues listsParticipate in commissioning meetings and prepare meeting minutesDocument test results and maintain commissioning recordsSupport the development and maintenance of project documentationResponsible for personal time management on assigned projectsResponsible for the technical quality and accuracy of work provided under the guidance of senior engineersPlanning for project activities and keeping accurate records of project activitiesCommunication with other staff including Engineers and Senior ManagerTravel to sites is required ? overnight stays on occasionQualificationsBachelor?s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field1-3 years of experience in commissioning within the construction industryBasic understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and controls systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentationProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamStrong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teamsExperience with CxAlloy and other commissioning software platforms is preferredRelevant certifications in Commissioning are highly desirable.Demonstrated working knowledge or interest in the operation of HVAC, Boilers, Chillers and Control Systems is preferred.Compensation DataCOMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.?
