Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • 3 months of travel experience is required from last 18 months. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: AHSA Program - UnityPoint Health. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months minimum of experience in Med Surg / Med Surg Tele. - Proficiency caring for ALL Patient Types – variety of med surg patients - Experience with Heparin Preferred Skills/Experience: Skills in telemetry/cardiac background Unit/Facility Details: - RN will train on 3E unit which is med surg post op surgical care before switching to 5E on March 10th. - Must be open, and willing to extend past the initial 13 week assignment. - May assume charge role, as needed, including precepting new team members as needed Shift & Scheduling: - Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 3x12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week - FIRM, no 48s. - Weekend Requirements: As scheduled including holiday rotation Floating Requirements: May be required to float to all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran Hospital & Methodist West Hospital within pertinent skillset/Unit they are contracted for. 7 days maximum time off 2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission Driver’s license required for submission Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes License Type: registered License State: IA Certifications: Basic Life Support Job Details Job Type: Travel Nurse/Patient: 1/4-5 Shift Type: Night Contract Date: 2026-03-02 Expected Length: 13 weeks Hours per Shift: 12 Shifts per Week: 3
