Job Title: Safety/Security Ambassador (Ideal for candidates with experience as a security guard, law enforcement, or military) Pay Rate: $21.99 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Pay Day, free uniforms and great benefits!) Shift/Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm or 2:30pm to 11:00pm MUST be able to get a Minnesota Protective Agent License (after hire, if candidate doesn't already have it). What You'll Be Doing : Patrol the assigned zone on foot and/ or bike as a deterrent and be on the lookout for unwanted behavior and activity. Provide information, assistance, and directions to pedestrians and visitors. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times. Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to local authorities via established communication methods. Must be able to articulate an accurate description of persons, vehicles, and other identifiers. Firmly and courteously request compliance from persons violating low-level quality of life crimes, such as panhandling, loitering, disruptive behavior, etc. Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and city information. Responsible for making a specified number of visits to zone businesses to share information and gather contact information. Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed, which requires being proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.
