This position will be full-time contract and hybrid in Chicago, IL.What You’ll DoCoordinate technical resources and activities across mobile development, backend services, and database teams to ensure efficient operationsProvide technical guidance on Ionic Framework architecture, Angular 18 implementation, and Bootstrap UI design patternsLead technical design sessions ensuring adherence to architecture standards for Spring Boot microservices and Oracle 19c database designOversee integration of Miovision API for real-time traffic data and ensure optimal API performanceGuide implementation of voice interaction features using NLP technology and haptic feedback mechanismsEstablish and enforce coding standards, security practices, and performance optimization techniquesReview and approve technical designs for GPS-based location services and multilingual audio output capabilitiesConduct code reviews and provide mentorship to development team membersTroubleshoot complex technical issues across mobile frontend, Java backend, and database layersEnsure compliance with security requirements using Coverity and accessibility standards using WAVE testing toolsCollaborate with Solutions Architect and Project Manager to translate business requirements into technical solutionsManage technical debt and recommend technology improvements and optimizationsWhat You'll NeedRequired:Extensive experience with Ionic Framework and cross-platform mobile application developmentStrong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and HibernateExpert knowledge of Angular 18 and modern frontend development practicesExperience with Oracle 19c database design, optimization, and administrationProven track record leading technical teams and mentoring developersKnowledge of REST API design and integration best practicesExperience with Maven build tools and CI/CD pipelinesUnderstanding of NLP technologies, GPS services, and mobile device capabilitiesFamiliarity with security testing tools (Coverity) and accessibility compliance (WAVE)Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field5+ years of software development experience with 2+ years in technical leadership rolesPhysical DemandsAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standardsSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor#LI-GR1Reasonable accommodation statementIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 – 8111.$85 - $95 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
