Job InfoJob Location: Springfield, MassachusettsType of Assignment: Temp to HireTransmission Type: AutomaticJob RequirementsExperience: 2+ yearsAdditional InformationCDL A Driver - Touch Freight - $28 Per Hour   TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Springfield, MA.  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.  CDL A Details  Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, 3am - 4am Start time, 14 hour days Pay:  $28 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours, $1,100 - $1,200 Estimated Weekly Pay Route Type: Local covering CT, RI, MA, Boston and Cape Cod, NH, NY- Utica/Albany. 1-8 Stops per day  Freight / Load Type: Hauling food to warehouses, driver will load/unload  Handling: Touch Freight, loading/unloading of product is required using electric pallet jack. Some sites require breakdown, some sites will offload themselves CDL A  Minimum Requirements:   License: CDL A   Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience  Endorsements: None Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)  Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements  CDL A Responsibilities:   Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes  Transport food in accordance with DOT and company safety standards  Perform required handling tasks including loading/unloading of product Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections  Maintain accurate logs and paperwork  Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations  Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]  Benefits:  Medical, dental, and vision insurance  Paid time off  401(k)  Referral program  Why Work With TransForce?  Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
