Bar Back - Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar

Located near the iconic intersection of Cocoa and Chocolate Avenue, Hershey Social features bold flavors, signature cocktails, and over-the-top desserts inspired by Hershey’s chocolate roots. This position is responsible for maintaining the bar areas, equipment, and assisting in the service of food and beverage to guests in a high-paced environment. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Responsible for setup, service of the bar, and storage areas. Anticipate guests’ needs by answering questions pertaining to wine, liquor, and cocktail menus. Abide by all state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests. Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar area including counters, floors, refrigerators, and removal of trash. Monitor shelves and coolers to ensure proper stocking of beer, wine, liquor, and other beverages. Assist servers and bartenders with duties such as mixing drinks, serving guests, detailing, and breakdown of the bar area. Assist with the inventory process on a monthly basis. Assist with filling and delivering requisitioned products and equipment. Maintain a commitment to exceptional guest service. Restock bar area with clean glasses and other accessories. Assist the manager with liquor pick-ups as well as the ordering process. Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must be able to complete RAMP certification training Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 1 year of restaurant experience preferred Bartending experience preferred Job Demands: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
