Belmont Village LPN's communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and team members as needed ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. As a Charge Nurse you will lead and provide direction to Caregivers and Medication Technicians. The ideal LPN candidate is reliable, makes sound decisions under pressure, and is detail oriented. Belmont Village Charge Nurses excel in a fast-paced, highly engaging position, collaborate effectively with a diverse team, and prioritizing exceptional nursing care helping seniors thrive as they age.YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Follow up on physicians orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care informationProvide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations documenting as necessaryEnsure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing tasks of Medication Technicians and care providersMake appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive mannerUpdate and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reportsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSActive LVN or LPN license in the State in which this community is locatedCPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hireMinimum one year of medication administration experience preferredPrior supervisory experience preferredMust be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written EnglishIntermediate computer and mobile device skillsProfessional, pleasant and team oriented attitudeConsistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the communityPlease note that the above Responsibilities and Qualifications provide a general overview of the primary duties for this role and the basic qualifications.
