Job DescriptionOpportunity at a GlanceYou're the hands-on execution expert who makes our public affairs strategy come to life day-to-day. This role is all about rapid response, stakeholder relationship building, and keeping everyone informed about what's happening in the political and regulatory world. Great for someone who's politically savvy and thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.What You'll Do: Execute our advocacy and issues management agenda with a focus on day-to-day operations, stakeholder engagement, and crisis response coordination. You'll need to be proactive and politically savvy, able to manage sensitive issues with discretion while maintaining agility in fast-paced environments. ResponsibilitiesExecute public affairs initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise strategyLead rapid crisis response efforts and coordinate internal/external communicationsTrack regulatory developments and provide timely intelligence to leadershipBuild relationships with advocacy groups and trade associations for policy supportDevelop messaging that supports business objectives and regulatory positioningCollaborate with legal, compliance, and communications teams for consistent messagingPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsQualificationsBachelor's Degree Required7+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or advocacy3+ years in management or senior individual contributor rolesProven experience in crisis communications and rapid response coordinationBackground in monitoring legislative and regulatory developmentsExperience working with trade associations and advocacy organizationsHealthcare, education, or regulated industry experience preferredSkillsStrong strategic thinking with excellent tactical execution abilitiesOutstanding written and oral communication skillsAbility to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple prioritiesStrong analytical skills for assessing policy impacts and developing responsesRelationship-building expertise with diverse stakeholder groupsProject management skills with attention to detail and deadlinesAdditional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $80337.00 and $145077.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
