Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for a Senior Process Analyst with advanced expertise in process design, workflow optimization, and cross‑functional coordination to lead enterprise process improvements in support of a mission‑critical U.S. Coast Guard program. This position will be located in Alexandria, VA and will be a hybrid position. Responsibilities: Lead end‑to‑end analysis, design, and optimization of enterprise business processes supporting USCG program operations.Oversee development, documentation, and governance of standard operating procedures, workflows, and process controls.Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and workforce readiness.Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration with HR, Recruiting, IT, Security, and PMO leadership to ensure alignment of processes with mission and program requirements.Conduct data‑driven assessments of processes to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for optimization.Develop metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to monitor process performance and support leadership decision‑making.Ensure process compliance with USCG, DoD, and organizational standards, including audit readiness and documentation accuracy.Support change management initiatives by developing communication materials, training resources, and stakeholder engagement plans.Provide senior‑level guidance to junior analysts and contribute to PMO strategic planning and operational governance. Qualifications: High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.Experience in process analysis, business process improvement, workflow design, or operational management.Proven ability to lead complex process improvement initiatives across multiple functional areas.Strong proficiency in process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation methodologies.Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and stakeholder engagement.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience supporting the U.S. Coast Guard, DoD, or other federal contracting environments.Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.Experience with change management frameworks and process governance models.Background working in or supporting a PMO.Experience collaborating with senior leadership and cross‑functional program teams. Posted Pay RangeThe posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $105,000.00 - USD $130,000.00 /Yr.
