Full Time Security Officer in Stevens Point - $17 per hour**Temporary position with the possibility of permanent employment due to covering a leave of absence.    Work Schedule: Saturday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday - 4:00 PM to Midnight Tuesday - 4:00 PM to Midnight 32 Hours Per Week at $17.00 Per Hour    Job Summary The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting routine patrols and monitoring facility conditions. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and basic computer skills for reporting.  Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesConduct regular walking rounds inside the facility Monitor CamerasMonitor for and report:Unauthorized persons on the premisesSigns of smoke, fire, or other safety hazardsUnsecured, damaged, or broken doors and windowsAny notable facility issues or irregular conditionsRespond appropriately to observed incidents and follow established proceduresAccurately complete daily activity reports Maintain a professional appearance and comply with all site and company policiesQualifications & RequirementsBasic computer skills required (for logging daily activity reports)Strong written communication skills required, including legible handwriting and clear, professional wording in daily reportsAbility to walk and stand for extended periodsStrong observation, documentation, and communication skillsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work evening shiftsPrior security experience is a plus but not required (training provided)Licensing & Screening RequirementsMust be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigationMust be able to obtain and maintain a Wisconsin DSPS Private Security Person licenseLicensing eligibility requires no felony convictions, in accordance with Wisconsin DSPS regulationsMust remain compliant with all state and company licensing requirements throughout employment   Work with the best!
