Maintenance Tech

Job DescriptionAramark is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support daily facilities operations at a charter academy in Pontiac, Michigan. This role is responsible for general building maintenance and repairs to help maintain a safe, clean, and functional learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.This is a handyman-style maintenance role. No trade license or certification is required. We are seeking candidates with general maintenance experience, especially those who have worked in schools, apartment complexes, retail stores, or commercial buildingsJob ResponsibilitiesPerform general building maintenance and minor repairsRepair and maintain doors, windows, locks, fixtures, and hardwarePerform basic repairs on minor appliances, office equipment, and furnitureConduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needsComplete daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance checklistsUse hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectivelyRespond to maintenance requests and service callsReport larger or more complex maintenance issues to leadershipMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaProvide friendly, professional service to customers, clients, and coworkersFollow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and Aramark policies At Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers.
