Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required from last 12 months. • Must have at least 10 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: 2 years of recent MS/TELE(Also accepting RNs with ED or clinical evaluation unit backgrounds) Skills: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, PCA, Thrombolytic Agents, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Intracranial bleeds, Seizure disorders, Spinal cord injury, Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Ortho trauma, Traction, Surgical drains, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Wound Care/Wound Vac. Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching Hospital Experience, Trauma Level I Experience Skills: Telemetry Oncology, ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Heart Transplant, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Feeding tube care and management, Liver transplant, Pancreas transplant, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal transplant, TURP, Starting and maintaining IVs, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Non-invasive airway management. Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Shift & Scheduling: 3/9 and 3/23 starts. 3/9 starts will be priority. Every other weekend Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer.
