Project Manager - Building AutomationLocation: Peachtree City, GAOur client seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead automation projects from initiation through closeout. This role requires a strong technical foundation in building automation, along with proven experience managing project schedules, financials, customer coordination, and engineering teams.  Key Responsibilities: Manage full project lifecycle and ensure on-time, within-budget deliveryLead and mentor engineering teams, providing technical oversight and quality assuranceDevelop and maintain Microsoft Project schedules with clear dependencies and deliverablesMonitor project margin, proactively manage scope changes, and forecast financial outcomesPrepare and manage project financial reporting, cost projections, cash flow, and invoicingDraft and track change orders, and oversee procurement processesCoordinate directly with customers, serving as the primary commercial point of contactLead regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholdersEnforce engineering standards and ensure adherence to quality plansIdentify project risks and lead mitigation strategiesSupport the development of internal project management tools and QMS contributionsNegotiate terms and conditions as neededQualifications: 3-5 years of experience in automation project management or technical leadershipStrong working knowledge of financial management and project forecastingProven experience organizing, scheduling, and executing technical project plansExperience training and developing junior engineersWorking knowledge of HVAC systems, including sequences of operation, P&IDs, and utility systems such as chilled water, boilers, and electrical distributionUnderstanding of electrical low-voltage installation and subcontractor managementOnsite commissioning experience highly preferred TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
