Founded in 1932, Messer’s footprint has grown to eleven regional offices located across the Midwest and Southeast: Greenville, South Carolina; Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; Columbus, Cincinnati, and Dayton Ohio; Louisville and Lexington Kentucky; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Knoxville & Nashville, Tennessee. What You Will Do: Lead flatwork concrete crew; mainly the pump, place and finish crews that install large concrete slabs, sidewalks, concrete paving, mechanical pads, and stairs. Must have experience installing 10,000+ square foot slabs; hard trowel finish, broom finish, and curing. Responsible for leading a crew of 10-15 laborers. What You Will Bring: High School diploma or equivalent 10+ years of experience in concrete work. Leadership/supervisory experience Quality driven, with a customer service focused mindset Experience with effective pump/placing/vibrating concrete ACI Certification-Current or expired Proven quality installation and knowledge with ACI tolerances along with FF/FL performance. Clean driving record required Abilities: Possess all auditory, speaking, and communicating abilities. Physical requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, climbing, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 75lbs. All Messer employees are required to comply with our Substance Abuse Prevention Policy as a condition of employment.
