What We Offer: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiac Cath Lab Location: Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NCDepartment: Cardiac Cath LabSchedule: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15PM On Call Schedule: Once a week and every 5th weekend - MUST live within 30 mins of Forsyth Medical CenterProcedural Volume: Approximately 15-20 cases dailyPatient Interaction: Direct involvement in patient care We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join our dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab team in supporting five  labs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. Sign on Bonus up to $15K: Paid out in three increments over eighteen months.Competitive Compensation: Attractive salary and benefits package.Professional Development: Opportunities for continuing education and certification.Supportive Environment: Collaborative team culture with a focus on work-life balance.Community Impact: Contribute to improving cardiovascular health in the Wilmington area.  What We're Looking For: Education: Graduate from one of the following Accredited Education Programs required: • Registered Nurse (RN) • Registered Radiology Technology (RTR) • Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) • Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (RCIS) • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) • Emergency Medical Technician – Paramedic (EMT-P) • Cardiovascular Tech (CVT) • Vascular Intervention (VI), required.Experience: If RN, one (1) year of Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cath/EP Lab, or Special Procedures experience, required.If EMT-P, two (2) years of acute care hospital experience, required.If RTR, RRT, RCIS, RCES, CVT or VI one (1) year of experience, preferred.Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN)-North Carolina Board of Nursing License Registered Radiology Technologist (RTR) -ARRT Radiology OR Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) credentialing/accreditation and/or Paramedic associate degree from an appropriately recognized Paramedic program. Or Technologist Registry OR Respiratory Therapist-licensed by the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board (NCRCB) AND Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as RRT. OR Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Cardiovascular Tech, and Vascular Intervention-graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Program. If the Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS) is not a RN, RTR with CI or VI certification, he/she must obtain their Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) within 24 months of hire for continued employment, required.Additional Skills Required:Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skill validation and competency testing.Pass yearly Cardiac Dysrhythmias Test. What You'll Do: The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist will provide care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures. Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with current policies and procedures.
