Job InfoJob Location: Columbus, OHRoute Type: LocalType of Assignment: Temp to HireTransmission Type: AutomaticJob RequirementsExperience: 2+ yearsHandling: Light TouchAdditional InformationCDL A Truck Driver | $31 to $34 Per Hour DOE | Columbus, OH   TransForce is seeking a CDL A Truck Driver to support local operations based in Columbus, Ohio.  The driver should have their Tanker endorsement and the ability to drive a manual transmission.  This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.  CDL A Truck Driver Details  Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 8AM start time; 8-10 hours per day  Pay:  $31 to $34 per hour, depending on experience Route Type: local Freight / Load Type: Used grease Equipment: Manual transmission - tanker  Handling: emptying grease traps  CDL A Truck Driver Minimum Requirements:   License: CDL A Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience  Endorsements: Tanker Equipment Experience: Tanker and MANUAL TRANSMISSION Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)  Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements  CDL A Truck Driver Responsibilities:   Safely operate tankers on local routes  Transport used grease in accordance with DOT and company safety standards  Perform required handling tasks including emptying grease traps  Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections  Maintain accurate logs and paperwork  Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations  Meet the physical demands of the role, including the ability to lift 75 pounds if needed Benefits:  Medical, dental, and vision insurance  Paid time off  401(k)  Referral program    Why Work With TransForce?  Join TransForce and see why our drivers are proud to be on the TransForce team.
