Engineering Technician

Our client, an innovative leader in automotive research and development, is seeking a Engineer Technician 2 to join their dynamic team. As an Engineer Technician 2, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting vehicle testing and engineering activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical independence, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Engineer Technician 2 Location: Irvine, California (Remote work options available) Pay Range: DOE What's the Job? Support vehicle development activities by preparing and configuring test vehicles Assist engineers with vehicle testing and minor modifications Perform mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks as needed Maintain and care for test equipment and tools to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate effectively with diverse engineering teams to meet project goals What's Needed? Hands-on experience with automotive mechanical systems Knowledge of automotive electrical systems Experience with light fabrication and use of shop tools Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently Comfort working in a fast-paced research and development environment What's in it for me?
