This role is not open for submissions from outside staffing agencies. CAD Designer What Brought You Here: Total compensation pay range: $65,000-$70,000/hr. depending on experience. Earn additional pay based on individual and team performance with our Monthly Production Incentive Compensation Program! Who You Are: The Ideal candidate will have an exceptional work ethic, ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently, strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a very fast-paced and deadline driven environment. What You Will Be Doing: As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for creating and revising 2D AutoCAD drawings for glass fabrication and production. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned): Create and revise 2D AutoCAD drawings for fabrication and production Use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for design and composition fulfillment Create and edit vector-based designs using Adobe Illustrator Design and prepare vector artwork for production workflows, digital applications, and print Edit, retouch, and enhance images in Adobe Photoshop for digital and print use Use printing of CAD drawings in various formats packages Must be capable of learning proprietary software Must have strong attention to detail Must be able to think creatively and critically Regular and predictable attendance, safe performance of tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of the job. Skills You Bring: MINIMUM SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS include the following: HS Diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field highly preferred. Previous CAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator preferred 1+ year(s) of experience in CAD Design. Previous experience designing glass a plus! Must have a working knowledge of general manufacturing environments and operations Must understand units of measurement and be able to perform general mathematical equations-strong mathematical skills preferred.
