As Clinical Services Director, you will contribute to the company’s mission of providing quality services by managing the coordination, supervision, and delivery of clinical services across the state. Manage the coordination, supervision, and delivery of clinical services statewide. Ensure that all clinical staff meet the licensing requirements and program descriptions necessary to deliver in-service training while delivering treatment services for the individuals under care. Manage and supervise clinical staff by providing continuous coaching, feedback, and progressive discipline when necessary. Responsibilities include performance evaluations, orientation, new staff development, training, and assigning caseloads. Make recommendations on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, discipline, terminations, and similar actions. Resolve personnel problems within position responsibilities. Develop and implement a growth plan for intensive residential services and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and who have high-intensity behavioral needs and/or criminal histories. Ensure that individual and family psychotherapy and case management services are being delivered to the individuals served as required; provide staff consultation on medical and psychiatric incidents as necessary. Ensure that all clinical records for individuals served are complete, organized, and kept confidential, meeting timelines for compliance with state regulatory requirements. Establish liaisons with and conduct pre-contract interviews with all consulting staff (psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatricians, etc.) to ensure coordinated service delivery. Develop and maintain working relationships with all clients, families, funding sources, and regulatory agencies, as appropriate, and monitor satisfaction with services. Develop and implement avenues for continuing education and comprehensive training programs for clinical staff to keep current with compliance and regulations. Ensure compliance with all federal and state licensing requirements, while internally adhering to all policies and procedures. Qualifications: Master’s Degree required; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Minimum of 5 years post-licensure experience in the use of psychosocial assessment and psychotherapeutic methods and measures in a hospital, clinic, or agency. Minimum of 5 years of experience in child welfare service delivery, at least three of which have been in a supervisory capacity. Minimum of 5 years in a senior managerial-level supervisory role. Ability to perform clinical oversight with DSP level staff An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements. Active state licensure to practice within field is required. Current CPR/First Aid Certification as required by state. Demonstrated ability in areas of leadership, human resources, training, and public relations. Specialized training and/or prior experience in treating individuals with emotional problems or developmental deficits. Knowledge/training in treating sex offender children and knowledge of applicable federal and state regulations. Excellent literacy and communication skills; effective presentation skills. Understanding of statistical concepts and practical applications. Strong analytical reasoning skills with ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services. Why Join Us? Full compensation/benefits package for full-time employees.
