Additional Details: Job Highlights: - 3 South is a 32 bed Step Down Intermediate Care Unit from ICU. The primary population on 3 South are adult and geriatric patients with cardiac disease and stroke. In addition, we accommodate acute cardiac events requiring continuous intravenous medication drips, pre and post electrophysiology (EP) studies, pre and post cardiac catheterization, and pre and post pacemaker/automated implantable cardiac defibrillator??? (AICD) care. All RN’s are Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified and Stroke Certified. The CHF Program Coordinator and the Stroke Program Coordinator work closely with the staff to provide high quality education for the patients. - Could care for COVID patients. - Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics - Provider Supports: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation - Special Equipment: HIGH ACUITY - Patient Population: Stroke patients.
