Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience. • Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: Required Skills: MS/Tele, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Oncology, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE. Special Requirements: Medical/Surgical/Oncology patients. Preferred Skills/Experience: Telemetry Oncology, Accessing/Managing Ports, PCA, Administration of chemotherapy, Monitoring Chemotherapy. Required Credentials: Nursys. RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. Unit and facility details: No medical marijuana cards accepted. Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. 2 shifts every other weekend. For night shift it can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday -depends on who already is on rotation. Other Requirements: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
