OurImagingdepartment hastheir own transporters and patient lift equipment to help move patients for imaging exams.We have8, 10 and 12hourshiftsas well as weekendoptionpay.Our department includes X-ray Techs, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs, Mammography Techs, Interventional Radiology Techs, OR X-ray Techs, Unit Secretaries, Transporters, RNs, PAs, and Radiologist.We are a259-bedhospital, a level III trauma center, a level III neonatal intensive careunitand stroke certified. OurEmergencyroom sees about100,000 patientsa year.Our Imaging department consist of the following:X-ray 3 Routine Rooms & 2FluoroRooms (86,000 exams per year)CT 4 CTSiemensrooms (72,000 exams per year)MRI` 2 MRI units (1.5T Siemens & 3T GE) (10,000 exams per year)Ultrasound 3SiemensRooms (21,000 exams per year)Breast Health Center 4HologicDiag/Screening Rooms & 1 DEXA (23,000 per year)IR 1GERoom (2,500examsper year)Outpatient DiagnosticCenter CT,MRI, Mammography & X-ray(11,000 exams per year)Surgery (OR) 5 GE OEC C-ArmsCSU Pre and Post unit for patients receiving moderate sedation Responsibilities: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
