Hardware Engineer

Our client, a leading innovator in hardware development, is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Engineering department supporting cutting-edge projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, technical expertise, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Hardware Engineer Location:Santa Clara, CA What's the Job? Design and develop hardware components for first silicon hardware boards, ensuring timely delivery and high quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, qualification, and test engineering to integrate hardware solutions seamlessly. Drive strategic hardware design initiatives aligned with company goals and industry trends. Participate in the development and debugging of ATE and bench boards, utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. Stay updated on emerging hardware technologies and incorporate best practices into design processes. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Proficiency in high-speed PCB design, layout, and schematic capture using Cadence Allegro and Capture CIS. Experience with ATE and characterization board development on Advantest T2000 and 93K platforms is preferred. Knowledge of power distribution networks and simulation tools such as Cadence Sigrity, Ansys Siwave, and HFSS. Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root cause analysis in a lab environment. What's in it for me?
