This role requires comprehensive training and experience in electrical systems, typically acquired through formal apprenticeship or equivalent training, and includes responding to emergency electrical issues while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, Electrical Repair, lighting and motorsDesigning and installing conduit systems and other electrical transmission equipmentReading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specificationsDiagnosing and troubleshooting electrical system malfunctions using specialized testing instrumentsConducting preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and continuous operationDocumenting completed work and maintaining accurate service recordsSupporting secondary facility maintenance tasks including basic plumbing repairs and HVAC troubleshootingResponding to emergency electrical issues as neededDesired experience and technical skillsRequirements:Formal electrical apprenticeship completion or equivalent training and experienceKnowledge of electrical codes and safety regulationsExperience with installation and repair of commercial/Industrial electrical systems and equipmentProficiency in using electrician's hand tools and specialized measuring/testing instrumentsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical specificationsDocumentation and record-keeping skillsAvailability to respond to emergency situations when needed70E Certification Preferred:Experience in facilities maintenance environmentKnowledge of building automation systemsBasic skills in complementary trades (plumbing, HVAC, general maintenance)Experience with preventative maintenance programsFamiliarity with energy efficiency practices and solutionsExperience in Conduit Bending, and wiring rooms from the panel to end userWork in a team Environment Location: On-siteWork Shift: Standard business hoursThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
