We are seeking an experienced Hospice Administrator / Director of Operations to lead day‑to‑day hospice operations, ensure regulatory excellence, and support teams dedicated to providing comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients and families.This is an opportunity for a proven hospice leader who understands the hospice philosophy and excels in operations, compliance, staff leadership, and census performance.Position SummaryThe Hospice Administrator / Director of Operations is responsible for the overall operational, clinical, and financial management of hospice services. This role ensures compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, state and federal regulations, and organizational policies while driving quality outcomes, team engagement, and sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide overall leadership and direction for hospice operations and daily agency functionsEnsure full compliance with Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation, state regulations, and accrediting standardsOversee Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI), utilization review, and survey readinessLead and support the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and promote collaboration across all hospice disciplinesRecruit, hire, develop, and retain qualified clinical and administrative staffManage budgets, financial performance, and census goalsEnsure high‑quality, patient‑ and family‑centered hospice care deliveryServe as liaison with the Governing Body, community partners, and regulatory agenciesPromote a positive, mission‑driven culture aligned with hospice valuesQualificationsRequiredBachelor’s degree in healthcare, human services, administration, or related fieldMinimum two (2) years of hospice management or leadership experienceStrong knowledge of hospice regulations, Medicare compliance, and survey processesCurrent professional license, as applicableValid driver’s license and automobile liability insurancePreferredPrevious experience as a Hospice Administrator, Executive Director, or Director of OperationsDemonstrated success in staff leadership, financial oversight, and census growthStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsCommitment to the hospice philosophy and end‑of‑life care excellenceWhy Join PruittHealth Hospice?We support our leaders with:Competitive compensationProgressive benefitsCareer growth opportunities within a respected healthcare organizationA mission‑driven, family‑oriented cultureThe opportunity to make a meaningful impact every dayFamily Makes Us Stronger.
