Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager

Our client, a leading organization in autonomous transportation, is seeking a Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, responsible, reliable, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills. They should be able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Job Title: Sr. Accountant/Accounting Manager Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range: $60-67/h + Benefits What's the Job? Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Manage accounts payable and implement process improvements Review employee expense accounting classifications and act as a backup for team members when needed for different accounting functions such as fixed assets and leases What's Needed? Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls processes Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent Excel skills What's in it for me?
