Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading global consulting firm specializing in Mining, Environmental, Hydropower, and Water Resources, is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Civil Engineer Location: Tucson, Arizona Pay Range:$80,000 - $100,000 What's the Job? Assist in the design and analysis of civil and geotechnical engineering projects related to water retaining dams, tailings dams, pipelines, mine infrastructure, and hydropower facilities. Prepare detailed proposals, schedules, and technical specifications for various projects. Participate in site investigations, including planning and executing geotechnical and civil engineering assessments. Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate technical work and produce comprehensive technical reports. What's Needed? Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred) Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) 4 to 10 years of relevant experience in mining, hydropower, or infrastructure project development with a focus on geotechnical analysis Proven ability in project and client management Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach What's in it for me?
