Production Manager – Food Production & Culinary OperationsJob Type: Full-Time, 2nd shiftLocation: VirginiaSalary: $75,000-$85,000, plus bonus- Commensurate with experience We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and manage all aspects of daily food production operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire production team, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality, freshness, safety, and efficiency.The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills who thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment. This position requires experience managing large teams, controlling labor costs, operating production equipment, and enforcing food safety and sanitation standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead daily food production operations, including hand-cut and machine-cut processes, to meet quality, safety, and productivity goalsManage labor efficiency, production schedules, workflow, and staffing to control costs and meet deadlinesSupervise, train, and evaluate production staff; address performance, training needs, and employee concernsEnsure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards (ServSafe, OSHA)Maintain equipment readiness, oversee SOPs, and resolve operational or maintenance issues to prevent downtimeCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, HR, Purchasing, Operations, and Quality AssuranceQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentServSafe Manager Certification (required)5+ years of culinary or food production experienceExperience with inventory control and team managementProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail, initiative, and problem-solving skillsProven leadership skills with a positive, motivating management styleWhy JoinStable, fast-paced food production environmentOpportunity to lead and make a direct impact on daily operationsHands-on leadership role with cross-functional collaborationSupportive team culture focused on quality and efficiencyWe are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
