Site SupervisorJob SummaryThe Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing Security Officers and Lead Officers at assigned client site(s). This role ensures all security operations run smoothly, post orders are followed, staff are properly trained, and client expectations are met. The Security Supervisor may also perform Security Officer duties as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other assigned personnel at one or more client sitesEnsure all post orders are followed, patrols are completed, and reports are accurate and submitted on timeAssign work schedules and ensure adequate coverage of all postsCoach, train, and discipline employees in accordance with company policy and client requirementsConduct post inspections and meet with staff to review duties and expectationsTrain new and existing employees on post orders, procedures, and site-specific requirementsPrepare, review, and submit reports, logs, and required documentationAssist with payroll and personnel reporting as assignedRespond appropriately to emergencies and notify proper authorities and client representativesMeet with client representatives to ensure security needs are met and provide high-quality customer serviceSupport hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, including making recommendationsStep in and perform Security Officer duties when necessaryMinimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh School Diploma or GED (or willingness to complete GED within six months)Legal authorization to work in the United StatesAbility to speak, read, and write EnglishReliable transportation and reliable means of communicationWillingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including background check and drug screeningPreferred Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years of security-related experience, including lead or supervisory experienceEquivalent combination of education and experience may be consideredRequired Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of security operations, procedures, and safety practicesStrong leadership and supervisory skillsAbility to train, motivate, and discipline staff effectivelyExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to write clear and accurate reports and logsStrong organizational and scheduling skillsAbility to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situationsComfortable working in diverse environments and adapting to changing proceduresAbility to meet all applicable licensing, certification, and site-specific requirementsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, and sit for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyMay be required to work overtime, weekends, or holidaysMay be exposed to inclement weather, stressful situations, or physical activity depending on assignmentAbility to use basic computer systems and communication devicesAbility to maintain professional composure and handle sensitive or confidential informationEqual Opportunity EmployerSecuritas Security Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace. #RhodeIsland Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
