Dental Assistant

Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant II on behalf of our client to support a busy, patient-focused dental practice. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and comfortable working chairside in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring excellent patient care and efficient office flow.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist dentist chairside during a variety of dental proceduresPrepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control standardsTake and process dental radiographs (X-rays)Perform expanded duties permitted under DA II certification (as applicable by state regulations)Prepare materials for restorations, impressions, and temporary crownsProvide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment careMaintain accurate clinical documentation in patient chartsEnsure patient comfort before, during, and after proceduresSupport front office or lab tasks as needed to maintain workflowQualifications2+ minimum of experienceActive Dental Assistant II certificationCurrent radiography certificationCPR/BLS certificationPrevious clinical dental assisting experience preferredStrong communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of dental Dentrix software and digital charting preferredWork ScheduleMonday – Thursday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
