Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience. • 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months. • Experience with MedConnectHealth is preferred from any number of months. • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must have a District of Columbia license (required for submission). • Local & travel allowed. Declinations not accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience 2 years of experience: clinic or acute inpatient MS - will accept RN with basic MedSurg experience with this opening. Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam for clearance, achieving at least an 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms (for specific specialties). You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Preferred Skills/Experience Prior clinic experience preferred. Work Settings: Acute Hospital, Outpatient Clinic. Required Credentials For DC locations – You must have DC license in hand, but certain units accept pending. MedStar will usually accept a later booking date if you have applied for DC licensure. Job Highlights Transplant Coordinator (organ: kidney-pancreas). Patient population: Patients being evaluated for kidney transplant. EMR: MedConnect. Manager interviews are not guaranteed. Travelers must be comfortable proceeding without an interview. Any traveler questions should be directed to the AM. Special Requests No RTO is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. RTO must be included at the time of submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. Shift & Scheduling No on call, no weekend requirement. 7 days maximum time off.
