Submit your application for the opportunity below:Cath Lab Radiology Tech Job Summary and QualificationsThe Cardiovascular Technician plays a critical role in supporting high-level cardiac and peripheral procedures. This position requires a professional capable of working with minimal supervision to assist physicians during X-ray guided catheterizations, balloon angioplasty, and stenting. By maintaining a sterile environment, ensuring patient safety, and managing precise documentation, the technician ensures high-quality care for patients across a wide range of developmental stages.What you will do in this role:Assist the physician during X-ray guided cardiac catheterizations, cardiac and peripheral ballooning, and stenting.Utilize sterile techniques before and during procedures to assist the physician.Perform accurate input of patient and procedure data into the medical record.Maintain arterial and venous hemostasis following procedures.Assist in the safe transport and positioning of patients.Maintain accurate records, documentation, and departmental supply inventory.Participate in Performance Improvement (PI) plans and departmental initiatives.Demonstrate knowledge of human growth, development, and assessment for the specific age groups served.Perform all other duties as assigned to support departmental needs.What qualifications you will need:Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree.Current registration as a Registered Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained prior to the completion of orientation.Previous experience working in Cath Lab, EP Lab, or in Interventional Radiology strongly preferred.BenefitsTriStar NorthCrest Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
