Non CDL Delivery Driver

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, occasionally MondaysShifts will starting between 5 am-7am and 11am - 12pmAverage 8-10 hr. daysWe help YOU make it! Our Non CDL Drivers pay starts at $24 per hourUS Foods is one of the largest food distributors with a culture and history of promoting from within, excellent training programs and a continuous improvement focus. Main Ingredients of the Job Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery timesCarefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areasVerify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signaturesHandle collections and payments from customers when applicableProfessionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experiencePerform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspectionPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift requiredComfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) requiredWhat You Bring to the TableMust be at least 21 years of ageValid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with proper endorsements if required.  DOT medical card/certification required.Must be able to pass DOT physical and pass pre-employment testing (including items such as Drug Screen & Background Check)No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.No commercial or professional driving experience required. One year of multi-stop delivery experience is preferred or six months local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.Hand cart delivery experience preferred.Availability to work on weekends, Holidays and overtime in order to service customersAble to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredWhy US FoodsGreat drivers are crucial to the US Foods® team and one of the important faces of our organization.
