Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • 12 months of acute care experience. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Massachusetts license (required for submission). • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >30 miles from facility to be submitted. • No current placement allowed at Program: Supplemental Program - Boston Medical Center (BMC). Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process. Additional Details: Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted. Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting (within 48 hours of offer). 2 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it’s within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation. Required Skills/Experience: 1+ years of acute care experience, Acute Medical Surgical; must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips, and have experience with auto med dispensing systems. Tele test on day 1. Preferred Skills/Experience: Peritoneal Dialysis and manual CAPD. Unit/Facility Details: Unit sees Medical/Renal, Multi-complex diagnosis. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.
