Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience. • Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months. • BSN completion preferred Requirements: • Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission). • This role will require floating to multiple units • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted. • 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health. • 12 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - MedStar Health. Additional Details: Required Skills/Experience: - ICU experience required. Travelers will cover the IMC and ICU unit. - MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required. - Candidate must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. - Candidates are assigned facility-and unit-specific Sitel modules upon hire, which must be completed within one week of signing their contract. Failure to complete them within this timeframe may result in cancellation. - A candidate’s address must match their driver’s license when determining local status, and a copy of the driver’s license must be provided at the time of submittal. Preferred Skills/Experience: - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown - Post Cardiac Angiogram - TR Band - IV insulin protocols - Accessing/Managing Ports - Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac - Wound Care/Wound Vac Required Credentials: - You must be able to complete labs and DS appointment within 48 hours of signing. Failure to complete them within this timeframe may result in cancellation. Candidates are encouraged to plan ahead to prevent conflicts with vacations or work schedules. Special Requests: - RTO must be included at the time of submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review. - Candidates may be submitted to only one MedStar location at a time. Shift & Scheduling: - 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) in a six-week period. - Weekend coverage every other weekend. Floating Requirements: - Float to ICU, ED, and Med Surg as needed.
