Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the past 3 years. • Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months. • Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months Requirements: • Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • Flu vaccination required after submission. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Core Requirements: RN’s - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated. Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract. RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Required Skills/Experience: 1 year of charge experience is required. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Preferred Skills/Experience: Ventilator, CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000, ICP competencies (training available). Preferred Credentials: ONS/ONCC certification. Chemotherapy certification. Special Requests: RTO needed upfront (7 or less days required per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved including after submission. Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend requirement. Floating Requirements: Float to med/surg and PCU units (same level of care). Required Skills/Experience: oncology and PCU exp Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application.
