HR Generalist

As an HR Generalist, you will contribute to the engagement of our Lima associates on a daily basis, while sharpening your HR skills in key areas, including performance management, employee relations, new hire assimilation, and everything in-between. For this position, you will work on-site at our Lima, OH manufacturing facility supporting 80+ employees.You WillServe as the site resource for Associate benefits programs, which includes facilitating Open Enrollment, promoting wellness plans and providing general guidance.Administer HR functions, such as time & attendance, new hire onboarding, job changes, LOA, etc.Facilitate New Hire Orientation and other trainingsSupport training & safety program administration, including enrollment, tracking & logistics planning.Perform and maintain all administrative functions in compliance with federal, state and company guidelinesContribute to the planning of Associate engagement events and other activitiesParticipate in Plastipak community activities with local schools and vocational programs, fostering positive relationships and candidate pools.You HaveBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferredA minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience with exposure to recruiting, onboarding and HR administrationA relationship-oriented and caring interpersonal styleTechnical savvy, with a solid understanding of HR platforms.
