Dental Assistant – Burr Ridge, ILOur private dental practice in Burr Ridge, Illinois is seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our supportive, high-quality clinical team. With a team of 7 and a strong focus on digital dentistry, we are looking for someone who thrives in a modern environment and takes pride in supporting exceptional patient care. This position reports to one location only.ScheduleMonday through ThursdaySome Friday morningsDuties & ResponsibilitiesProvide chairside assistance during dental proceduresAssist the doctor and occasionally support the hygienistSet up and clean treatment roomsMaintain treatment room organization and efficiencyManage instrument sterilization and infection control protocolsMaintain dental treatment rooms and equipmentTake digital X-rays and panographsAssist with CEREC Prime scanning (a plus)Manage incoming and outgoing lab casesLog equipment maintenanceManage dental supply ordersSeat patients comfortably and ensure a positive experienceRead and follow dental material instructions and package directionsUtilize Dentrix softwareSupport the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operationsRequirementsMinimum 2+ years of dental assisting experienceExperience with digital X-rays and panographs requiredCEREC Prime scanning experience is a plusExperience with Dentrix software preferredComfortable using computers and reading technical instructionsStrong understanding of infection control protocolsDigital dentistry experience preferredMotivated, team-oriented mindsetGood chairside manner in a high-quality clinical environmentAbility to follow instructions and maintain organizationPay & Compensation$21 to $25 per hour, depending on skills and experience$25+ for expanded duties dental assistant401(k)We are looking for a candidate who understands that the main event of a dental office is the providers seeing patients and delivering excellent care, and who takes pride in supporting that mission.
