We have an exciting opportunity for you to join HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital which is part of the nation's leading provider of healthcare services, HCA Healthcare.Job Summary and QualificationsThe nurse is an integral part of the Imaging/Radiology Team. The major goal of the Radiology nurse is to provide exceptional quality nursing care to outpatients in the Radiology Department. The RN provides nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols already developed for the healthcare organization. The tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Assesses plans and evaluates the nursing care needs of the patient before, during and after the invasive procedures, breast biopsies. Provides nursing care to the patient undergoing the invasive procedures, breast biopsies. Assists Radiologists during examinations and procedures. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. Instructs and educates patients and families. Provides age appropriate and culturally appropriate care. Orients and mentors new staff members. Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required. What qualifications you will need:Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current unencumbered South Carolina or Multistate Compact Registered Nurse License Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification on hire ACLS on hire or within90 days of transfer or new hire Specialty Certification highly preferred within 3 years of hire.  Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing. Experience: 2 or more years’ experience in Critical Care Nursing required. Performs in accordance with delineated job responsibilities and satisfactorily completes a yearly evaluation based on these responsibilities. Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of the patient, internal and external customer. BenefitsHCA Healthcare Trident Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
