We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the team at Davidson Urology in Thomasville. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while delivering exceptional patient-centered care in a collaborative clinical environment. What We're Looking For: Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required. Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.Experience: Mininum one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.Licensure/Certification: NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R) Required NH Medical Group Office Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography - RT(R), required.Additional Skills Required: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations and procedures. What You'll Do: Performing and processing X-rays while ensuring patient safety and proper imaging protocolsManaging prior authorizations with insurance companies to ensure timely approval of procedures and treatmentsOrdering and maintaining medical supplies to support daily clinic operationsRooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing them for provider evaluation
