This role blends database engineering, performance optimization, and integration support with ongoing operational DBA responsibilities.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL codePerform database performance tuning and query optimizationSupport database upgrades, patches, and environment refreshesCollaborate with application teams to ensure seamless database integrationAssist with troubleshooting and root‑cause analysisContribute to database design improvements, standards, and best practicesParticipate in on‑call rotation and occasional after‑hours supportSupport mission continuity and long‑term knowledge retentionBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 4+ years of related experience. Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.US Citizen; Currently possessing DoD Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to a TS/SBI clearance upon hire.IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ or equivalent)Strong expertise with Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQLHands‑on experience with performance tuning and operational database supportBackground supporting mission‑critical or operational systemsExperience with Oracle GoldenGate for data replication, synchronization, and high-availability architectures.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree with 2+ years related experiencePrior DoD 24×7 mission support experienceExperience mentoring database engineers or DBAsExperience supporting databases in cloud or hybrid cloud environments  including migration, integration, and performance considerations.Ready to make an impact?
