Licensed Electrician – HVAC Controls

What You Will DoAs an HVAC Controls Electrician, you will perform installation and checkout of HVAC control systems in commercial and industrial environments. This role supports building automation systems (BAS), working with electrical contractors and internal teams to ensure systems are installed safely, accurately, and according to code.You will play a key role in delivering high-quality controls installations while building strong relationships with customers on-site.How You Will Do ItInstall raceways, conduit, cables, and wiring in accordance with local and national electrical codesMount, wire, and terminate HVAC controls panels, sensors, actuators, and related equipmentPerform system checkout and verify wiring using electrical test instrumentsInterpret electrical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentsAssist with material planning and installation scope reviewCommunicate project progress, job site challenges, and material needs to managementMaintain accurate documentation including time sheets, expense reports, and as-built drawingsCoordinate with prime electrical contractors and other trades as requiredSupport customer communication before, during, and after installationFollow all company and job-site safety policiesWhat We Look ForRequiredElectrical apprenticeship OR formal training in electrical installationJourneyman-level electrical license (or equivalent experience where applicable)Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsWorking knowledge of electrical codes related to controls installationsExperience determining installation materials and job scopeAbility to work independently in the fieldPreferred3–5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or electrical controls installationExperience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)Familiarity with low-voltage systems and control wiringWhy Join Us?Stable, long-term commercial projectsGrowth into advanced controls or commissioning rolesWork with leading HVAC and automation technologiesStrong safety cultureHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $ 30-40 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
